Kriterion is a unique movie theater in Amsterdam East that is run exclusively by students (and a cat). Ever since the theater was founded in the 1940s, by former members of the resistance, Kriterion has been providing the city with a cutting-edge cinema programme. This shows in their curation for Short Movie Sunday, which is filled with pieces.

Cineville is the biggest film club in the Netherlands. With their cinema subscription, they show the country that the world of cinema is an endlessly rich and fabulous place. A place that is hilarious as well as bloody serious, cruel and sweet, and ranges from wonderfully superficial to brain-teasing. As is their programme for Short Movie Sunday.
