The real Sheila
She might look tough but underneath all those tattoos lies a true sweetheart. She’s loves to meet new people and is an open minded person. Back in the days she dreamt of becoming a makeup artist, nowadays she works as a medical esthetician. Always stayed true to her dreams. She loves friendly conversations and easy moments and likes to create fun memories. So Volkshotel is right up on her ally. She listens to Geto Boys on repeat. Bushwick Bill — member of the Geto Boys — is one of her favourite poets. Her trip to Volkshotel was a Valentine’s day present to her boyfriend, along with her three kids she’s enjoying Amsterdam. She hate people with a resting bitch-face, Sheila is not really into that. Other than that, she is a lovely, energetic woman.
The real Kimo
Kimo is a well-known face in Volkshotel, being one of the originals. Currently she’s not working in the hotel anymore and is focussing on her school. She aspires to become a product designer. Pilot, that was her first goal in life, but it turned out to be way too expensive and mathematical. As a kid she dreamt of becoming a baker. But being a night owl she thought that 4 am would be way too early to wake up. Kimo likes to take care of her plants. At the moment she has over 60 plants on her balcony. She hates the tuk-tuk bikes in Amsterdam. “They’re huge and blocked the complete cycling paths of Amsterdam”. You can wake Kimo up for sushi.
