I love to go there in the morning before they open to grab a coffee with Sander and talk about the latest gear and gossip.”

“Ben-G Skateshop is the spot if your looking for the latest skate products, whether kicks or outfits, they have the raddest stuff. Over the course of the years they grew from 20M2 to a 3 story shop, with on the top floor ‘Very Special’ here you can find a section of skate novelty items and exclusive products ‘Hypebeast kids’ only dream of, of course, all for sale. Benny the owner of the store is a legendary skateboarder in the community and still skates every week. Ben-G is worldwide known for their collaborations with brands such as, Nike SB, Converse, Stussy, Obey, and more.”

3. LUX
“Sixteen years ago the LUX started for us as bar where would get roundhoused after a skateboard adventure on Thursdays. Oh wait, we actually went to the WEBER, this is next door and has the same owner. It’s a great central location, they play great tunes and you get a nice variety of visitors. The bar works like a magnet, if you don’t know where to go, the LUX magnet is always pulling you in. A night at LUX is never disappointing.”

5. FC Hyena
“FC Hyena is the boutique style cinema in the North. With a great dinner menu which contains a variety of small dishes. The roasted cauliflower and the burrata are my favorites. Situated on the north-side of the river IJ, this is a lovely spot to spend the day, hang out, go for a swim or simply watch the crowd go by.”
