When asked to explain what Goldie Pawn is exactly, Lotta elaborates: “Goldie Pawn is an initiative of collectors, curators and designers of exquisite and gender-fluid vintage, pre-loved items and handmade one-of-a-kind pieces. It’s a pot of sexy gold hidden at the end of the rainbow for your ultimate pleasure. It’s a tireless treasure hunter that chases down that one pearl in a pile of empty shells.”
The collection of Goldie Pawn is not your average one. Lotta: “We wander the whole wide world to provide people with the most exceptional and precious gems. Our whole collection changes on a monthly basis. Each time the shop is alchemized into a different mesmerizing microcosm of color, texture, and ambiance. Goldie Pawn also likes to offer personal styling advice to customers, and playfully provoke to try on items that typically wouldn’t attract their attention. When someone finds that one loyal love, that trustworthy second skin, that one item that empowers them into being the best version of themselves, that’s when we are really happy.”
Furthermore, Goldie Pawn organizes a wide variety of little events and gatherings every now and then on different locations. Lotta: “These events are varying from concerts by live musicians and DJs, love ceremonies and art exhibitions to tarot readings, poetry soirees, and avantgardistic performances.”
