Doka Electronic Live Sessions is a monthly reunion of live electronic music creators, performing a mix of prepared and live improvisations in an intimate environment. For ADE, D.E.L.S.’s resident host, Julien Chaptal invited Tom Trago to present his newest release ‚Ignorance‘ together with Dutch electronic pioneer Dexter & Friends. This to celebrate the work and love they’ve put into the album all together. As per tradition, Julien Chaptal, will open the evening with his microbial orchestra and will close off the night in true D.E.L.S. style.

United Identities x Doka Studio ADE w/ Carista | Julien Simmons | Kai Alcé | Livwutang | Steve Rachmad // Doka
This year, United Identities marks five consecutive editions at Doka and celebrates this milestone with a 12-hour sonic transmission from 18:00 till 06:00: an uninterrupted journey through the broad spectrum of dance music, from dusk till dawn. Guiding the one-room dance floor are five artists spanning generations, each bringing their unique sound and energy: Steve Rachmad, Kai Alcé, Livwutang, Julien Simmons, and United Identities founder CARISTA.

We’re very happy to announce that we’ll team up with Sound Metaphors for the first time during this year’s ADE. The Berlin record store, club night and label has been earning its stripes with a decade of full-on dedication to music. Just like the variety of records in their shop and the artists they host during their own nights, it’s something you’ll feel in their sets as Sound Metaphors DJs too. For this ade they’re bringing none other than Roi Perez, Courtney Bailey and Tornado Wallace to join them. All aboard, the night train!

Canvas joins in on the festivities during ADE with a Friday night high above the city. On the 24th we welcome Kevin Lo, Essets and Pelanoir, three regulars that know Canvas from inside out, though it’ll be their first-ever b3b. A night that’ll probably start with a hug of music during your dinner & drinks, but will move into that thing that connects all three of them: house. They’re known for it and big chance they will share their love for it.

On Saturday, Doka Studio and Likeminded take over the basement once again, this time during the day. But it’s probably gonna be that type of day where time blurs and the dance floor keeps dragging you back from your smoke break to see Rhadoo -aka the master of long sets- at work.

One Eye Witness x Superluminal // Doka
A local affair with the Doka family. One Eye Witness takes over our dungeon to host the Saturday night together with Superluminal. One of Amsterdam’s favorite record dealers round off their three-day stretch with a lineup they hold close. For the occasion they’ve picked Mr. Ho, co-founder of Klasse Wrecks; Nosedrip, the curious ear behind Belgium’s label Stroom; and Berlin’s Superluminal vinyl heads Ancut and So-Fi, known for their sharp and steady digs. Alongside OEW’s own Hylke, Saturday’s set to roll deep.

Canvas keeps the ADE energy going on Saturday night with Queen Saba and DJ Shirley. While they are both known on our upper floor, they have never played together before. It will be a lovely meeting between two generations of artists. One played the famous Roxy back in the day, the other made her debut at Club Raum just last year. That said, they know how to get you all warmed up for using your last bits of energy during ADE. If you want to, you can spill it all together with them.

Knits & Notes returns to Werkplaats for ADE as Ana Maria Suso turns the lobby into a surreal knitting rave. Part textile installation, part dance floor, with music, lights, and yarn all tangled together.

A laid-back close to ADE, but don’t be fooled, big chance you slip down to Doka for a last dance with Mendel & his Special Guest.
