[moosdohmen] is a producer exploring live modular electronica and beat making. He is well-versed in creating immersive sonic landscapes using modular systems and is now teaming up with Estroe, a DJ and producer known for her selection of subtle sounds. Together, they’ll present a blend of dub-influenced textures and melodious tunes in an entirely improvised performance.
With his fully improvised live show, every Modo Mero performance is unique. Every melody, every drum rhythm and every chord progression is made up on the spot. A big, subconscious stream of musical ideas turned into one smooth performance, ready to immerse the audience in a one-of-a-kind sonic journey.
Daniel J. Cecil is a fiction writer and essayist whose work has appeared in a wide range of journals and magazines, including the LA Review of Books, Barrelhouse, and The Stranger. Daniel will be performing experimental rituals for peace set to music. Imagine chants that create hypnotic states, koans for mindful meditation, and the conjuring of words that hold the power to effect change.
As per tradition, D.E.L.S. resident Live explorer, Julien Chaptal, will build a musical backbone for Daniel’s words, moody transitions, and who knows, an impromptu live jam with D.E.L.S.’s evening guests.
