Book by its cover: Tristan & Henna

Werkplaats

Every day travellers and locals mix and mingle in our café and community working space Werkplaats. Under the guise of an experiment, we asked two of them some questions. How much can two people who have never met tell, just by looking at the other?

The real Tristan
Yesterday, Tristan turned 21. He lives in Arnhem, but he’s an Amsterdam regular. At the moment he’s taking a break from his Media & Entertainment Management studies to pursue his career as an online filmmaker and photographer. As a kid, Tristan wanted to become a builder. In his spare time he dances and plays the guitar. His favourite colour used to be green, but now it’s yellow. Yellow looks good on him and reminds him of Scandinavia. Which he thinks is awesome.

The real Henna
Henna wanted to be a mechanic or carpenter when she was young. But her grandma didn’t allow it, becuse of all the boys at school. For 7 years Henna has been living in England with her slave with a financial fetish. She’s a lifestyle mistress and dominatrix. In her spare time Henna collects and sells kimonos. Her favourite colours are red and black. She loves Nine Inch Nails, old jazz, ska, soul and sometimes tacky music like Christina Aquilera. She dislikes short-sighted people and likes animals because of their honesty. She’s in town to visit family, to relax and to find potential slaves.
