Outsider’s Guide: Filippa K

BY SUZANNE SMULDERS – Do you know the feeling you get when entering a nice store? One glimpse is enough to make you super greedy, everything you lay your eyes on is pretty and makes you want to wear it. This is exactly what happens to me when I enter Filippa K. It’s cosy, stylish and they have the nicest and super helpfull team

Clean cut
Filippa K is known for their clean cut Scandinavian look. Their signature style is, minimalistic designs made from beautiful high qualilty fabrics. I love the fact that they invest in timeless and well made items, making it wearable for a long time and definitely worth investing in.

They believe that style is not about what is fashionable at the moment, it’s about what you like personally and what makes you look pretty. If that isn’t a fresh and inspiring approach, I don’t know what is.

Behind the pretty looks
Filippa Knutsson, t
he Stockholm based designer is very involved with the consumption of fashion. She opened a second hand shop in Stockholm, where you can buy used Filippa K clothing. They even started their own lending system, making it possible to borrow some of their items. These kind of things really make me happy!

Make sure to check out their beautiful collections in Amsterdam. Now I’ll go back to daydreaming about their warm, soft winter knits!
