Pro-tip for vintage fashion lovers: you cannot miss Noordermarkt on Monday mornings. The market is the Jordaan district in the city center. Make your way to the market early and score some vintage gems to take home with you. The vintage market is open on Mondays only, from 08:30 to 13:00.
Only few buildings in Amsterdam are as iconic as the famous philharmonic building het Concertgebouw. While it has classical concerts programmed all through the week, on Wednesday afternoons you can visit lunch concerts for free. These concerts are usually final rehearsals for orchestras and are a great way to get to know the building, it’s architecture and it’s music.
Friday and Saturday night clubbing are becoming more and more busy. Which is maybe why many Amsterdammers choose to let their hair down on Sunday nights instead. Enter: Pluto. The new Sunday club night at Claire. Expect: a free-spirited atmosphere, quirky house music and a stellar crowd.
Why leave the hotel when you got plenty of diverse programming during the week, all year round? Every first Sunday of the month, you can visit Badplaats Sessions. Hot tubs and a sauna accompanied by live music. Not a hotel guest? No problem. Badplaats is open for everyone every Sunday from 12.00 to 18.00. But there’s more: From live jam sessions and bands in our basement Doka to cultural programming nights like Outspoken. Check out our agenda to see what’s up during your stay.
